A step by step guide to talking to the dead.

The Grey Walter- Berger Construct utilizes stroboscopic light, therefore please do not use this technique if you suffer from epilepsy or have had an epileptic episode.


Entering the contact phase

At the conclusion of the Alpha Phase Video Synch you should be in contact with the dead.
The level of contact depends on your receptivity. Depending on your receptivity you can achieve any of three levels of contact (see below).
The strength of contact you have also increases with practice.
Sometimes it can take several attempts - completing the Descent and Alpha phases each time - before contact is achieved.
Contact is possible on the first attempt. And may strengthen with practice.



 Entering the contact phase

You will know you are achieving contact when:
  • You feel a mild disorientation
  • You feel a change in your awareness
  • You feel a mild anxiety
  • You feel an inexplicable sense of discomfort
  • An occasion ‘flash’ of light, you perceive this as a faint, fast flash in your peripheral vision
  • A feeling that the room, or yourself is getting warmer or cooler. (Please note that the room itself will not change temperature, this is change is perceived not actual)
  • Feeling of increased or decreased air pressure.
  • A sense of pressure on any part of your body, for example gentle pressure on your chest or on your limbs.
  • A feeling of increased body weight. Your body or part of, it may appear to feel heavier.
  • A sense of ringing in your ears or a high or low pitched sound (again, this is perceived not actual).
  • An increased feeling of silence in the room.

If you experience level 1 contact, you are in contact with the dead. You may begin to communicate. Speak slowly and very quietly.

At this level, the dead will hear you, but you cannot hear them. You may ask them questions, simple yes or no questions. Their response will be felt as any of the physical manifestations listed above.


How to identify Level 2 contact

What to look for:
  • An intense experience of level 1.
  • Slight Movement of physical objects in the room.
  • A perception of something moving in the room at the threshold of your peripheral vision.
  • A ‘real’ sense of another physical presence in the room.
  • Hear quiet, distant breathing at the very threshold of your hearing
  • A quiet distant voice at the very threshold of your hearing. Do not expect to hear whole sentences; you may not be able to distinguish words, though you will be aware of a distant quiet voice.

Again, if you experience level 2 contact, you are in contact with the dead. You may begin to communicate. Speak slowly and very quietly.

At this level, the dead will hear you, but you will have difficulty hearing them. You may ask them questions, simple yes or no questions. Their response will be felt as any of the physical manifestations listed above including voice.


Possible side effects

This will vary depending on your receptivity, Alpha state and the degree to which you are practiced in the Construct. This can range from a significantly more intense experience of level 1 and 2 all they way to physical manifestation and direct conversation.

The results of my experiments and those of others tends to vary. You will however be certain of contact.

People have encountered side effects including:
  • Power surges to electrical appliances.
  • Highly localized changes to weather conditions.
  • Strange reactions from domestic animals.
  • The rapid decomposition of food in the house.
  • Extreme headaches and nausea
  • Electromagnetic phenomena – appliances turning themselves on and off.
  • Strange voice or image signals emanating from TV stereo or MP3 devices and computer equipment.

These side effects among others are completely normal. Do not let them cause you anxiety or you may lose your Alpha state before any true communication is possible.

Expect to remain in contact anywhere from 30 seconds to three minutes. Unlike what the cinema or so called 'psychics' may lead you to believe, contact is never of long duration.

You may experience side effects including headache and nausea. Nausea will pass within 30 minutes and headaches tend to pass within the hour.

Migraine sufferers may expect, after high level contact, the onset of a migraine.


Concluding notes:

As stated above, the Construct can enable you to talk with the dead on your first attempt. But this is rare.

Expect to attempt the entire procedure 2 or 3 times before real success. It will work, however this will depend on achieving the Alpha state and this can take some people an amount of practice.

You may choose to practice Alpha State induction by watching and re-watching the Alpha Phase Video Synch - on occasion the Alpha Phase Video Synch can lead direct to first level contact with the dead.

 Nicole Zapruder has been communicating with the dead since she was 4 years old. In this time, her exploration of different techniques has been driven by the desire to more effectively channel and control her natural gift.

Nicole states 'All peoples of earth posess this natural ability. However the noise and clutter of modern times serves to distance people from nature and therefore the realization that this gift is in us all. My intention is to return to people the experience of talking with the dead that our ancient ancestors once all possessed’. At the age of just 18, in 1996, Miriam was the last student of the eminent psychic Jean Dixon and has maintained regular contact with Ms Dixon since her death in 1997.

She currently lives in seclusion in an French provincial capital with her two dogs 'Petit Napoleon’ a Highland Terrier and 'Juan-Philippe' a pedigree Schnauzer.

Inspired by her love of nature and pets, Nicole's next project will be the website 'Communicating with your deceased pet'. The site is under construction and will be available to view in October 2008.
